Construction Equipment Guide

Producers can eliminate sand-hauling costs with the highly-mobile Aggre-Washer and Screening Plant manufactured by Columbus, Nebraska-based GreyStone Inc. The portable Aggre-Washer and Screening Plant can be relocated and ready for processing fine materials in a single production shift by folding down the feed hopper and removing the blocking.

GreyStone has five portable models with horizontal screens to choose from and also manufactures 10 semiportable models with horizontal or incline screens. The Aggre-Washer can be operated with as many as four conveyors to direct processed material.

GreyStone manufactures the heavy-duty portable Aggre-Washer and Screening Plant with either a single or twin dewatering screw classifier capable of processing from 90 to 315 metric tons per hour (100 to 350 tph) depending on screw speed. Screen discharge chutes are designed to distribute each product directly onto radial stacking conveyors. Reversible cross conveyors also can be provided for the bottom and middle deck overs in 60.9 centimeter and 76.2 centimeter (24 in. and 30 in.) widths and 3.7 meters (12 ft.) lengths. The chutes are lined with AR plate steel to provide durability and low maintenance. The large feed hopper has a built-in water system that ensures maximum production to the screen. The hopper also allows for material to be converted to slurry prior to entering the screen decks. The Aggre-Washer and Screening Plant also features four, nine-metric-ton (10 ton) screw-type leveling jacks to enhance set up and tear down.
