Atlas Copco Construction Tools has announced the addition of Groff Tractor & Equipment Inc. as its new distributor of hydraulic breakers in Pennsylvania.

Serving customers in Pennsylvania for more than 45 years, Groff Tractor & Equipment Inc. has five locations throughout the state that will sell, service and support Atlas Copco's complete line of hydraulic breakers — all featuring Krupp percussion technology. This line of breakers includes 15 models with energy classes ranging from 200 to 15,000 ft./lbs. (890 to 66,720 N), the largest production hydraulic breaker in the world.

"Groff Tractor & Equipment is an exciting addition to our dealer network," said Peter Bigwood, president of Atlas Copco Construction Tools Inc. "Atlas Copco customers will not only benefit from our proven line of hydraulic breakers, but also from Groff Tractor & Equipment's long history of excellence in light and heavy equipment sales and service."

Atlas Copco Construction Tools Inc. is a manufacturer of hydraulic breakers with products ranging from smaller hand-held tools to the largest weight class carrier attachments. Until the end of 2003, Krupp percussion technology was available in the United States under the Allied brand. Following Atlas Copco's acquisition of Krupp's hammer business, the line is being exclusively marketed under the Atlas Copco brand.
