Hawthorne Cat Names New Corporate Rental Manager

Hawthorne Cat, an authorized Caterpillar dealer, has promoted Mike Carcioppolo as its new corporate manager of its Rental Services. He will be responsible for the rental operations in San Diego, Hawaii and Guam. Additionally, he will continue to manage Hawthorne’s Product Support Sales and Emissions Solutions departments.

“I am excited in getting involved in the rental business again. With managing both rentals and product support, my goal is to continue to build on Hawthorne’s reputation as a one-stop shop for all contractors’ needs as well as continue to offer great customer service at all our locations. We want to inform our customers that we offer not just Caterpillar products but also allied equipment, big or small,” said Carcioppolo.

Carcioppolo has worked at Hawthorne for more than 20 years. He has held various positions in the company including parts/rental counterperson, branch manager, product support sales representative, rental developer, heavy rents manager up to his current position. He is currently on the board of directors at the Associated General Contractors San Diego Chapter.

“Mike has extensive sales and rental experience. For over 20 years, he has prepared himself for this opportunity and I am confident that his appointment to this position will provide our customers with service that exceeds their expectations in both the rental and product support arena,” said Steve Sager, Hawthorne’s vice president of corporate sales and rental.
