The 2008 IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hannover, Germany, proved a fitting stage for the international unveiling of Hendrickson’s new tagline, “The World Rides On Us.”

The tagline will be phased in throughout Hendrickson’s worldwide operations with the introduction in North America culminating at the 2009 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky.

The new slogan not only reflects the spirit of the brand but the 95-year legacy of engineering advancements and manufacturing excellence that forms the foundation for Hendrickson’s continuing commitment to the industry.

“Read literally, the tagline represents the millions of Hendrickson suspensions carrying freight on highways around the globe today,” said Baine Adams, Hendrickson vice president of global sales and marketing.

According to the manufacturer, ’The World Rides On Us’ encapsulates Hendrickson’s growing global position in the commercial transportation industry and the ongoing drive to build relationships that benefit fleets and truck and trailer manufacturers around the globe.

Hendrickson, a Boler company, is a global manufacturer and supplier of truck, tractor, bus and recreational vehicle suspensions and heavy-duty springs; trailer suspensions, controls and nonintegrated axles; truck and trailer lift axles, and bumpers and trim components to the commercial transportation industry. Hendrickson, based in Itasca, Ill., continues to meet the needs of the transportation industry after more than 95 years.
