On Oct. 10, 2024, Highway Equipment & Supply Co. hosted its annual Customer Appreciation Day at Whitetail Preserve in Bloomsburg, Pa.
This event gives customers the opportunity to explore a wide range of equipment, enjoy a delicious lunch, test their skills in trap and skeet shooting, and participate in various giveaways. Equipment on display included top brands such as Volvo, Takeuchi, Morbark, Rayco, Avant, Kage and more.
Each attendee received a Highway Equipment & Supply Co. (HESCO) swag bag and had the chance to win raffle prizes including t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, watches, mugs and more. This event also provided customers with the unique opportunity to get an up-close look at new equipment and engage with experts from Volvo and Takeuchi, gaining valuable insights and asking questions about the machines.
This year's event had even greater significance. Throughout the month of October, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, HESCO made a donation to Geisinger Medical Center for each new machine sold. To further show its support, each machine sold during this time featured a special machine sticker symbolizing the company's dedication to breast cancer research and awareness, reminding buyers of this important cause beyond the sale.
Each machine on-site at the event displayed the sticker, and signage was prominently placed to raise awareness of this campaign.
Jamie, territory sales manager of Bobcat at the Drums location, has personally witnessed the impact of breast cancer as he supported his wife through her diagnosis.
"Each of us, in one way or another, is touched by the fight against breast cancer —whether it's through our own experiences or those of someone we care about. Together, our collective strength and support can make a world of difference. Breast cancer awareness is not just about wearing pink; it's about empowering ourselves with knowledge, supporting those affected, and advocating for a future where every diagnosis leads to a cure."
"This annual event is a testament to Highway Equipment & Supply Co.'s commitment to building lasting relationships with our customers while providing high-quality equipment and service. Over the past 70 years, we've cultivated a community of loyal customers whose support and feedback drive our success. We take pride in both the products we offer and the connections we've built, and we look forward to serving our customers for many more years to come," the company said.
