Hills Machinery's mission has been to prove it is a dependable and reliable partner — and one that is here to stay — for its customers in the Carolinas. As part of that plan, the company has opened its newest facility, Hills Machinery Company of Greenville, 11 Dixie Circle Greenville, S.C., which is centrally located with easy access to I-85. The 15,000 sq. ft. (1,393.5 sq m) building sits on four acres, and features six service bays.

Customers in upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina will enjoy the selection of manufacturers the new branch offers, including Case Construction, Terex Finlay, Mauldin Paving, Edge Innovate, Globe Trailers, Gradall and many more. In addition, Hills Machinery's dedication to meet customers' expectations for products and services means they will have access to a full range of services, including preventative maintenance, hydraulic and electrical repair work and welding and line boring services. The company also offers full-line parts availability for its OEM products as well as a broad range of aftermarket products.

Dennis Morgan, fleet coordinator of the city of Greenville, said he is very pleased with the customer service and products he has received from Hills' Greenville-based business.

“We really appreciate all the help we receive when in need of parts and/or vehicles,” said Morgan. “We will definitely continue doing business with Hills Machinery in the future. Thank you for everything you do.”

Kent Dillard, president of Dillard Excavating Co. Inc., also will be taking advantage of the new facility.

“In the past, we have rented machinery from Hills Machinery to expedite projects,” said Dillard. “As with most projects, time is of essence and Bobby Olsen of Hills Machinery has supplied us equipment in a timely fashion at a competitive price. We are currently renting two Case SV212 compactors and we are very satisfied. We highly recommend Hills Machinery.”

Jim Hills, co-founder and president of Hills Machinery Company, believes this move will allow the company to continue to serve existing Case, Mauldin, Gradall and Finlay customers in the area by giving them a local distributor.

“As a full-service facility, we have factory-trained technicians and parts personnel, as well as professional sales consultants to offer competitively priced products and services to the local construction community,” said Hills.

The expansion to the Greenville, S.C., facility is just another step in Hills Machinery's plan to continue to better serve its customers. The company is looking to open two additional stores in the Carolinas to better serve all areas. The company also plans to continue to expand its facilities and personnel in all areas it currently operates in.

“Hills Machinery Company is proud to expand into the Greenville, S.C., area that we consider one of the most important markets in the Carolinas,” said Hills. “Case has a long history in this area and the opportunity to serve the customers with Case Construction products, and make sure they have local access to parts and service is of the upmost importance to us. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of the Greenville construction community and look forward to serving the many contractors there for many years to come.”
