Jim Rogan, vice president of machine sales of H. O. Penn Machinery Co. announced the appointment of Marty Callahan to the position of product technology solutions manager for the dealership.

“This position is focused on the critical areas of paving and machine control and guidance technology. Marty’s expertise and success in the paving business as well as him being our Accugrade champion for the last year makes him the ideal choice for this critical position.” Callahan’s career at H. O. Penn began in 1982 at the Bronx location, first as a parts counterperson, then progressing from sales/service coordinator to internal sales coordinator then to rental manager in the Armonk location. His next position was as a general line salesperson on Long Island that spanned 18 years where he successfully developed a loyal customer base and consistently facilitated favorable customer and corporate goals.

His most recent assignment was as region sales manager of the Poughkeepsie/Bloomingburg territories covering the Lower Hudson Valley of New York.

“This investment of talent and resources goes to our continued commitment of providing solutions as a business partner to our customers, further illustrating the value of choosing H. O. Penn and Caterpillar. We have the utmost confidence that Marty will lead us to that goal,” Rogan added.
