Responding to a sharp increase in demand for its comprehensive product support services, Hoffman Equipment Co., Piscataway, NJ, has strengthened its product support management staff, as well as significantly increasing its team of factory-trained technicians.

The increased demand Hoffman is experiencing is a consequence of an expansion in the company’s product offerings, especially the addition of the Manitowoc and Grove crane lines, and, also, continued increases in machine population levels for its Daewoo and JCB lines of earthmoving and material handling equipment.

Heading up the expanded service department operations is Paul Kizmann, recently of Prevost Car Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of customized, luxury coaches and touring buses. He served as product support service manager and, later, as New Jersey branch manager.

Doug Tully, newly named parts manager, also comes to Hoffman from Prevost Car Inc., where he was New Jersey parts manager. Previously he held parts management positions with a Caterpillar dealer.

Kizmann and Tully join Bryan Bloyd and Stan Ford, veterans in the department’s management.

Hoffman’s Holtsville, Long Island branch also has expanded its product support staff in both parts and field service operations.
