HosePower has expanded its network of service centers to include Nashville, Tenn. The company’s 30th location opened its doors on Sept. 20.

A unique aspect of HosePower’s business is found in its Hose Boss mobile repair service. Specially outfitted trucks are on call 24/7 to repair or replace hydraulic lines at construction sites and in manufacturing facilities. By quickly and efficiently repairing hoses on-site, the Hose Boss service helps equipment operators to minimize downtime. The loss of revenue from a broken hose on a piece of heavy equipment can exceed thousands of dollars per hour, so the service can help to keep job costs from mushrooming, according to the company.

Nashville Branch Manager Mike Morgan noted, “Hydraulic hoses are hardly thought of most of the time, but when one breaks the results can be long delays, higher costs, and serious inconvenience. When it comes to repairing broken hydraulic lines, time is literally money.”

Two Hose Boss trucks are currently serving Nashville, and several more units are planned for the future.

In addition to providing mobile service, the HosePower prides itself on maintaining a fast, friendly walk-in counter. During regular business hours, service technicians are available to build custom hose assemblies on demand.

“The assembly of a hydraulic or industrial hose is usually very specific and has to meet industry standards,” said Morgan, “We take great care in providing the customer with the exact finished product he needs.”

HosePower also provides hose assemblies to manufacturers of cranes, trucks, sanitation equipment, pressure washers, pumps and other items with integrated hoses. These hoses must meet the strict tolerances set by design engineers at the factory. To engage this demanding market, HosePower operates three OEM Centers, which are expressly equipped to assemble, test, clean and distribute hoses in a way that meets the exact needs and scheduling requirements of busy factories.

“With each new location we provide personnel who will bring consistent, detailed OEM knowledge and experience to manufacturers in the area,” said HosePower President Palmer Clarkson.

HosePower is the worldwide Master Distributor of Flextral products, and also is an authorized distributor for many major industrial brands such as Goodyear, Bridgestone, Gates, Dixon, Faster, Foster and Snap Tite. HosePower offers custom OEM hose assemblies to manufacturers, turn-key hose distribution programs to industrial distributors and on-demand hose assembly service to all.

The Nashville service center is located at 208 Blanton Ave., and can be reached at 615/724-7813 or nashville@hoseboss.com.
