Honnen Equipment Co. News and Info : Construction Equipment Guide

Honnen Equipment was founded in 1963 by Pete Honnen as a John Deere construction and forestry equipment dealer. The company’s original name was Pete Honnen Equipment and was located in Commerce City, Colo. Just two years later, another branch was added in Grand Junction, Colo. In 1970, Honnen Equipment entered the crane business when it took on the Grove hydraulic crane line and two years after that, yet another branch was opened in Durango, Colo. The company added another crane manufacturer to its repertoire when in 1985 it took on the National Crane line. Honnen Equipment added other lines and branches over the next two decades. In 2009, the company acquired Scott Machinery Co.
