Iron Auction Group Conducts Successful Sale in Waco, Ga.

After 49 years in the grading and construction equipment business, Ronald Ellis, owner of Ellis Equipment & Grading Company Inc., commissioned Iron Auction Group to liquidate his construction equipment, trucks, trailers, support equipment and shop tools. The building and property for the business located in Waco, Ga., also was auctioned off at this Sept. 24 sale.

Mr. Ellis said with a smile that he's going to "try this retirement thing for the second or third time." CEG

A nice crowd filed in as the sale got underway in Waco, Ga.

Bryan Hope (L) of Iron Auction Group works the ring for bids and, interestingly enough, also will be on the ballot next year for the South Carolina state Senate elections.
