Contractors, farmers and ranchers descended on Seminole, Texas, Aug. 20 to 21 for Iron Bound Auction's two-day equipment sale. This was the second-biggest sale in the company's history.

A huge selection of construction and oilfield equipment was available to both online and in person bidders. The company reports approximately 275 people were on hand, while 600 bidders were active online.

Iron Bound, which was founded in 2015, has become a major source of equipment in West Texas. Seminole is centrally located for the oilfields to the south and the agricultural region to the north.

The company appreciates both its consignors and buyers, old and new and strives to improve the auction experience for all with auctions held in Odessa and the Amarillo area.

This Deere 624H was just what Corny Penner needed for his farm and metal building business. Penner farms several thousand acres of cotton and runs Penner Metal Buildings of Seminole.

Ranchers Autumn and David Hines of Lovington, N.M., were shopping for a skid steer to be put to use on Blue Moon Ranch. They would later bid on the Cat 246D.  

Iron Bound’s huge selection of big trucks brought Carlos Navarette (L) and Cruz Ortega to Seminole from Hobbs, N.M. They are launching a trucking company, Big N Logistics.  

A great selection of motorgraders and backhoe loaders was among the heavy equipment available to bidders at Iron Bound’s big sale.  

Hundreds of onsite bidders battled for needed equipment along with the usual strong showing from online buyers.
