James G. Murphy Holds Liquidation Sale in Kent, Washington

James G. Murphy Co. held a retirement sale for DPK Inc. General Contractors on Nov. 8 at its Kent Wash., location. The sale was a huge success: with 247 registered bidders, 80 online bidders and more than 600 lots, the auction was packed with action.

The auction featured heavy equipment in all shapes and sizes and the crowd was excited to get a piece of the action. Dozers, loaders, excavators, motorgraders, backhoes, rollers, dump trucks and more were up for sale from manufacturers including Case, Caterpillar, Bomag, Hitachi, Komatsu, John Deere and more.

James G. Murphy's next sale is in Kenmore, Wash., on Dec 1. It will feature the following: a 2007 Komatsu PC228USLC-3 excavator; a 2013 Doosan DX85R-3 excavator; four 2016/2017 Takeuchi TB240 excavators; a 2013 John Deere 450J LGP dozer; a 2016 Takeuchi TS80V-2 skid steer; two 2016 Takeuchi TL12R loaders; a 2015 Takeuchi TS70R skid steer; a 2011 John Deere 318D skid steer; a 2003 Cat 430D IT backhoe; a 2002 Kenworth T800 vactor; more than 200 cars and trucks; a large assortment of fleet vehicles; bucket trucks; tractors; flatbeds; contractor's tools and more.

Good food was on site from family-owned La Esperanza Catering, Stayton, Ore. Site manager Armando Perez, with his grill master, Antonio DeLacruz, put out some great eats.
