Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc. held its largest public auction to date on Aug. 5 to 6 — a two-day early Fall public auction held in Brooklyn, Miss. The next two-day public auction in Brooklyn, Miss., will be Nov. 11 and 12.

This public auction was held for multiple counties and contractors who recently decided to liquidate excess equipment inventory after completing jobs. There was a total of 1,375 items both days, including 44 items consigned from California. A total of 922 participated in person, while 123 buyers participated in online bidding, some from as far as California, Delaware, Indiana, Missouri and New Jersey and outside the United States, including Thailand and Mexico.

Highlights from the auction included a 2013 Mack Granite, a 2016 Tiger-Cat 720G, a 2016 Tiger-Cat 620E, two 2015 Case 580 Super N backhoes, a 2012 Komatsu PC360-10 hydraulic excavator, two 2015 Chambers Deliminators and a 2013 Prentice 2384B log loader.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers' next offsite auction will be the Fall Permian Basin Absolute Auction held in Stanton, Texas, Sept. 28. This auction will feature construction equipment, oil field equipment, trucks, trailers, and frac tanks.
