JLG Announces Appointment of Senior Officers

JLG Industries Inc.has announced the appointment of Israel Celli as a Company officer with the title of Vice President of International Sales, Marketing and Customer Support.

In addition, the Company announced that Wayne P. MacDonald has been appointed Senior Vice President – Engineering, and Philip H. Rehbein has been appointed Senior Vice President - Finance. All of these appointments are effective August 1, 2002.

Commenting on the promotions, Bill Lasky, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer said, "The appointment of Israel to this officer level position will enable JLG to enhance the focus and coordination of resources required in meeting our international goals. The introduction of new products has always been key to the success

of JLG. Promoting Wayne to this senior level position will ensure that we continue to serve the marketplace with cost-effective products that offer distinct advantages, while also offering an ongoing array of unique application machines.

"Finally, I am pleased to announce that Phil Rehbein has been appointed to a senior officer position. Phil embodies a high caliber of finance knowledge and strong leadership skills. We are fortunate to have such talented and experienced officers as key members of our management team."

As an officer of the Company, Celli continues to be responsible for all international sales, sales support, marketing and service operations for Europe, Asia/Pacific, Latin America and developing markets. Celli joined JLG in 2000 as General Manager of Latin America and was subsequently named Vice President of International Sales in 2001.

Prior to joining JLG, Celli acquired industry related experience as Marketing Director/Latin America for CNH Global representing the Case, Fiat Allis and New Holland product brands.
