JLG Industries Inc. introduced its upgraded line of SkyTrak brand telehandlers.

The machines are now powered by a Tier IV Final Cummins QSF 3.8L diesel engine that is powerful, fuel efficient and reliable.

A single joystick provides enhanced multifunction capability, and combined with the new integrated arm rest, helps reduce operator fatigue. A redesigned dash panel display is clean and clear. Air conditioning will be an OEM option on SkyTrak machines for the first time.

Outside, boom functions are faster and the cab door is engineered to be more durable. The rear counterweight now includes an integrated tow hitch for jobsite versatility. The line also sports a new color scheme and new decals for a modern look.

"SkyTrak is the number one selling brand of telehandler in North America," said Brian Boeckman, JLG Industries' global product director of telehandlers, "and these upgrades will most certainly ensure that this remains unchanged for the foreseeable future."

The innovations are common across the SkyTrak line and include the Model 6036, 6042, 8042, 10042 and 10054.
