George Massey

JM Wood Auction Company Inc., based in Montgomery, Ala., recently announced the addition of George Massey to its staff as territory manager of Tennessee and Kentucky.

Massey began his career in the industry more than 20 years ago and has vast experience in many aspects of the business. For the first five years of his career, he worked in construction equipment sales for John Deere and Cat dealers in various areas in Tennessee. Afterwards, Massey spent seven years with a major excavating contractor, and, for the last 10 years, worked in the auction business with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and IronPlanet.

Over the years, Massey said he has come to know Russ and Bryant Wood, as well as the entire staff of JM Wood Auction, and has gained a tremendous respect and admiration for the company.
