JM Wood Auction Company Inc. held its 44th annual four-day spring sale on March 14 to 17 at its headquarters in Montgomery, Ala. More than 3,000 people attended the sale and thousands more participated online, vying for more than 5,000 lots. The company sold more than $58 million of construction equipment, trucks, agricultural and forestry machines and more. Registered bidders hailed from six continents and 48 states, and online bidding accounted for more than $10 million in sales.

"The prices were far better than expected," said Bryant Wood of JM Wood. "We drew a pretty wide audience from around the world for this 44th Annual spring auction, but the amount of domestic activity was most encouraging. United States contractors were here buying up for work they have and work they anticipate having. Optimism is high"

The next Montgomery auction is June 13-15. For more information, visit www.jmwood.com.
