John Best has been named a power systems rental representative at Ransome Engine, the engine division of Bensalem, PA-based Caterpillar dealer Giles & Ransome Inc. His principal responsibilities in this position include managing the rental of generators, chillers, air conditioners and oil-free air compressors for current and potential customers.

Prior to joining Ransome Engine, Best was a senior sales representative for Hertz Equipment Rental in Pennsauken, NJ, and a territory manager for United Rental in Bellmawr, NJ.

Ransome Engine, a division of Giles & Ransome Inc., is the authorized distributor and parts and service provider for Caterpillar generator sets, as well as truck and marine engines. The division also rents generators, chillers, light towers, cable, electrical distribution and transformers. Ransome Engine operates out of branch locations in Bensalem, PA, Hammonton, NJ, and Bear, DE.
