Kioti Snowblowers Enhance Tractor Attachment Line

Construction Equipment Guide

Kioti Tractor has expanded its implement and attachment lines to include three front mount snowblower models.

The new implements are designed to fit Kioti’s entire CK line of compact tractors ranging from 20 to 35 hp (15 to 26 kW), as well as its DKSE models in the 40 to 50 hp (30 to 37 kW) range. All of the new front mount snowblowers are powered off the tractor’s mid-mount PTO and are secured to a special sub-frame that includes a quick attachment system, giving the operator optimal flexibility and enhanced productivity.

Adjustable lateral skid shoes are standard on the KS66-220FM and KS72-220FM, while offered as an option on the smaller KS54-180FM model.

These two-stage snow movers are available in three operating widths — 54, 66 and 72 in. (137, 167 and 183 cm) — to suit a combination of applications and to fit a wide-range of tractors. Center-balanced 14 or 15 in. (35.5 or 38 cm) diameter augers move snow quickly and effortlessly to a centerpoint discharge window, where a high-speed, four-blade fan moves it directly to the discharge chute. Reversible/replaceable carbon steel cutting edges are standard on the larger models.

The discharge chute itself is hydraulically driven. This smooth-operating chute rotates up to 282 degrees, giving the operator a wide range of discharge options. The chute rotates on a high modulus polyethylene bushing that provides smooth, long-lasting operation. The chute discharge deflection angle may be manually adjusted. This is a standard feature on all three models. Both hydraulic and electric deflectors, controlled at the operator station, are available as options. The latter is powered by the DC electrical system of the tractor.
