Kirchhoff Takes Next Step at Cleveland Brothers, Promoted to Executive VP

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. Inc., Harrisburg, PA, recently announced the promotion of Tom Kirchhoff to executive vice president.

Kirchhoff joined Cleveland Brothers in May of 1994 as a management trainee. In 1995, he was promoted to the position of aggregate specialist and in 1996 he took on the additional responsibilities of being the marketing manager for Cleveland Brothers.

In 1997, he took on the role of sales manager. In this key position, in addition to marketing, he had overall responsibility for paving products, government, landfill and rental sales functions of the company. He also was responsible for the implementation of Cleveland Brothers new rental division — CB Rents.

As Executive Vice President, Kirchhoff is responsible for all sales and sales support functions, marketing and rental operations. He retains his position as secretary/treasurer of the company.

Kirchhoff is the son of William T. Kirchhoff, Cleveland Brothers’ vice chairman and the grandson of Royal E. Cleveland, founder of Cleveland Brothers Equipment Company Inc.

Cleveland Brothers is Central Pennsylvania’s full-service distributor of Caterpillar equipment and engines. Additionally, Cleveland Brothers is the distributor for JLG personnel lifts, Rosco road maintenance equipment, Mauldin paving equipment, NPK hammers, Topcon guidance systems, and Trail King trailers. Fourteen facilities are located throughout Central Pennsylvania.
