At the upcoming ConExpo-Con/AGG 2014, Komatsu America Corp. will showcase 24 models, including Komatsu’s line of intelligent Machine Control (iMC) dozers and new Tier IV Final compliant machines. There will be four iMC dozers, nine excavators, five wheel loaders, two trucks, two larger dozers, one tracked log loader and one forklift on display at Booth 10016 in the North Hall.

Komatsu will feature its family of four intelligent Machine Control dozers that transition from rough dozing to finish grading, allowing operators of all levels of experience to operate the machines. The integrated sensor package on the iMC dozers eliminates the daily hassles of installing/removing GNSS antenna(s) and cable(s) from the blade, as well as the associated wear. Improvement in combination rough dozing efficiency is up to 13 percent higher in iMC machines, compared to add-on machine control systems for tested models. This Komatsu-only intelligent Machine Control technology is scalable to select other products manufactured by Komatsu.

Booth visitors also can learn more about Komatsu’s EPA certified Tier IV Final diesel engines that are built on Komatsu’s progressive engineering improvements to reduce emissions. The Tier IV Final technology will be integrated into Komatsu America’s construction and mining engines ranging in size from 3.3 to 46 L.
