Construction Equipment Guide

Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI-JCI) welcomed Chris Baer to its engineering team as a structural design engineer.

As a structural design engineer, Baer will perform structural steel design for both the washing and material handling product lines. Previously, he worked as a design engineer of Dakota Steel and Supply in Rapid City, S.D., and as a design engineer at Gage Brothers Concrete Products in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Greg Stach, engineering manager of KPI-JCI, said the addition of Baer to the engineering team fills a great need in the department.

“Because Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. offers turnkey product management, we design, fabricate and build our own structures to support this equipment. It is wonderful to have a professional engineer like Chris for these product lines,” Stach said. “He is a great asset to our team.”
