Construction Equipment Guide

LeeBoy’s 400 vibratory roller gives government agencies and asphalt paving companies a versatile and effective compactor for small street, parking lot, driveway and other commercial paving applications.

The 400 vibratory roller has a loaded weight of 7,000 lbs. (3,175 kg) and its split front drum provides a compaction coverage width of 44 in. (111.7 cm). This light drum roller has a static weight of 2.5 tons (2.2 t) with a vibration frequency of 2,600 vpm and a maximum centrifugal force of 4,000 lbs. (1,814 kg).

The 400 vibratory roller features a 40-hp (30 kW) Kubota diesel engine and smooth hydrostatic control in forward and reverse from 0 to 6 mph (0 to 9.6 kmh). Its compact design — 9-ft. (2.7 m) length and 6 ft. 6 in. (2 m) width — gives it maneuverability in tight spaces.

A fully cushioned bench seat, ROPS safety roll bar and easy to use controls on the 400 vibratory roller provide the operator with great comfort, safety, visibility and operation ease, according to the manufacturer. Forward and reverse levers are mounted on both sides of the driver’s console to allow the operator to focus better on the asphalt mat during detail work.

Also standard on the 400 vibratory roller are an 80-gal. (303 L) water spray system, hydraulic power steering and vandalism protection package.
