Mellott Company Expands Its Non-OEM Replacement Parts Business for Crushers

Mellott Company is continuing the expansion of its replacement parts business, the objective of which is to provide quality non-OEM replacement parts for many brands of crushers at affordable prices. It has entered exclusive long-term agreements with the following companies for the distribution of Mellott Company replacement parts:

• Tracsa S.A., Guadalarja, Mexico — Tracsa S.A. is a major dealer of mobile and crushing equipment in Mexico with more than 1,500 employees. Tracsa's distribution territory will be the entire country of Mexico for both the construction and mining market segments. Existing resources and market presence make Tracsa an ideal partner to promote the sale of Mellott Company parts and wears in Mexico, according to the company.

Sergio Fonseca, general manager of Tracsa S.A., anticipates synergies for incremental business opportunities.

• Crisp Industries, Bridgeport, Texas — Crisp Industries is a family-owned business located near Dallas with approximately 60 employees. It is a dynamic company rapidly expanding its footprint in the U.S. construction market. For more than 30 years, Crisp Industries has been a leader in the aggregate service industry specializing in design and erection of new aggregate material handling systems and custom fitting major additions to customer's existing operations. Crisp also is a major distributor of crushing equipment.

Crisp's exclusive territory for Mellott Company replacement parts will be the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas for the contractor and aggregate market segments.

John Crisp, president and CEO said becoming a distributor of Mellott Company replacement parts "...gives us the opportunity to reach out to a customer base that is extremely important...."

• Compass Equipment, Oroville, Calif. — Compass Equipment is a growing company of 25 employees located just north of Sacramento, Calif. It is a supplier of crushing equipment, related spare and wear parts, and ancillary components for the construction and mining industries. Compass also offers design engineering capabilities and provides expertise in custom ship unloading processes. Its distribution territory for Mellott Company replacement parts will be northern California and northern Nevada for both the construction and mining market segments. Victor Abreo, VP parts and service, states that Northern California has a large population of crushers covered by Mellott Company Replacement Parts giving Compass the opportunity to expand its customer service and support efforts.

• Milton CAT — a family-owned and operated business with a territory that includes New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and upstate New York. Milton CAT has a team of more than 900 dedicated and experienced employees and 13 well-equipped and staffed locations.

The company has successfully strengthened its position by being the sole source for its customers' changing needs, adding complementary lines such as crushing and screening equipment, according to the company.
