Messick’s Opens New Dealership in Halifax

Messick Farm Equipment is celebrating the grand opening of its fourth location at 3882 Peters Mountain Road in Halifax, Pa. The new dealership, previously Sweigard Brothers, sells new and used agricultural and construction equipment as well as offering parts and service.

During the grand opening from Jan. 16 to the 21, Messick’s in Halifax featured big parts discounts, interactive training sessions and new equipment displays.

Messick’s sells a broad range of New Holland tractors, from the new Boomer 20 compact tractor for big yards or small farmettes to the power of the T9 diesel with 670 max engine hp (500 kW). Along with New Holland, Messick’s also will have construction equipment from Kubota, including compact track loaders, excavators, tractor loader backhoes and the popular RTV utility vehicle.

But more than just new and used agricultural and construction equipment, Messick’s offers an extensive parts inventory and quick, reliable service. Messick’s parts department has great values including bulk engine oil, fuel and oil filters, shop supplies, bolts, twine and net wrap, and solid flex tires in stock and ready to go, according to the company.
