Michigan CAT announced the appointment of Erv Gambee to vice president of inventory, rental and used equipment.

Gambee began his Michigan CAT career in the management trainee program after a brief time with another equipment dealer, and gained experience in parts, service and rental.

In 1989, he became the corporate rental manager of Michigan CAT and led a successful business unit for eight years. In 1997, Gambee became a field sales representative in the Novi area and assisted his customers with their new and used equipment purchases.

“It’s rewarding to be able to promote talented people like Erv,” stated Michigan CAT president Jerry Jung. “He brings a broad range of experience from within Michigan CAT, as well as industry experience and customer relationships to this vital position.”

Michigan CAT is the Caterpillar dealer for Michigan’s lower peninsula. Store locations include Novi, Macomb, Grand Rapids, Kalkaska, Lansing, Saginaw and Brownstown Township.
