In 2018, RDO Equipment Co. is celebrating 50 years of partnerships, gratitude and vision in the equipment industry. All year, stores across the RDO Equipment Co. are marking the milestone in different ways.

On Sept. 20, the Kalispell, Mont., location transformed its service shop into a gathering space for team members and customers to celebrate. Special 50th anniversary-themed items were given away and all attendees enjoyed lunch.

Following a successful event at the Kalispell store, the Missoula, Mont., team held its event Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers and community members were invited to the store for a BBQ lunch, activities and giveaways.

One of the highlights, according to Eric Mitchell, service operations manager, was attendance from a group of students from Missoula College University of Montana.

"We have a student from the college in our Access Your Future internship program," Eric said. "It was neat to see interest from his fellow students and we enjoyed hosting them and telling them more about RDO Equipment Co."

Eric said team members enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with customers, especially those they don't get to see often, as well as interact with community members.
