More than 2,150 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on July 28.

Bidders came from 41 countries, including 47 U.S. states. Approximately 67 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Egypt, Malaysia and Peru. Online bidders purchased close to 58 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 1,750 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 100 boom and scissor lifts, 30 compactors, 15 excavators, 75 truck tractors, 190 trailers and more.
