More than 2,600 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on May 26.

More than 2,600 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on May 26.

Bidders came from 40-plus countries, including 49 states. Approximately 62 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Vietnam, India and Poland. Online bidders purchased approximately 50 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 2,300 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 220 truck tractors, 350 trailers, 25 compactors, 25 excavators, 65 boom and scissor lifts, 40 forklifts and more.
