More Than 2,800 Attend Ritchie Bros. Auction in Morris, Ill.

Out of state buyers, some from as far away as India and the United Arab Emirates, were among the thousands of bidders at the event.

More than 2,800 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on March 22.

Bidders came from 46 countries, including 49 U.S. states. More than 65 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as India, Vietnam, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased more than 41 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, close to 1,700 equipment lots were sold in the auction, including crawler tractors, excavators, wheel loaders, truck tractors and more.
