Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. celebrated the grand opening of its all new, state-of-the-art facility in Brunswick, Ohio, on August 15. Customers from northeast Ohio were welcomed to stop in for a tour of the new facility and review the latest John Deere equipment on display in the company's equipment yard, along with equipment from the dealership's other lines, including attachments from ALLU Buckets, Diamond Mowers, NPK, Paladin Brands and Rockland Manufacturing. Factory representatives from John Deere and the dealership's other equipment lines joined Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. personnel to greet attendees and discuss the equipment and enhanced service capabilities of the new facility. Attendees to the grand opening also were treated to door prizes and a hearty catered lunch.

Located at 1550 Industrial Parkway in Brunswick, Ohio, the new building was specifically designed and built to meet the expanding needs of Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co.'s customers. "We're committed to providing our customers with world class equipment matched by outstanding service," Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. President Bill Buckles stated. "The all new Brunswick branch equips our people with the tools they need to increase sales and productivity in serving the needs of our valued customers in the Cleveland metro market."

With almost 36,000 sq. ft. under one roof, Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co.'s move to the new facility expands the branch nearly fivefold over its previous Brunswick location. Built specifically for Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., the new facility is situated on 10 acres and features an expansive showroom/reception area with parts counter, offices for sales and administrative functions, a multimedia conference/training room, a break room and an expanded 7,000 sq. ft. parts warehouse. The building is pressurized to minimize dust and the service area is equipped with two 10-ton cranes, 11 service bays with iron impregnated concrete to protect the flooring from machine track damage, a wash bay and an overhead storage bay. The equipment yard is fully paved with a concrete pad and the facility includes a small demonstration area where customers can test out equipment.

Headquartered in Park City, Kan., and with more than 28 locations across Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, Ohio and Pennsylvania, Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. is one of John Deere's largest North American construction equipment dealer organization. The company was founded in 1982 and also represents a number of allied equipment lines. In most locations within Ohio, along with John Deere equipment, the company also offers equipment from ALLU, Diamond Mowers, Eager Beaver Trailers, Harlo, Hitachi, NPK Hydraulic Tools, Peterson Pacific, Rockland Manufacturing, Road Hog, Sakai, Sennebogen, Werk-Brau and others. Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co.'s Brunswick branch serves as the base of operations for approximately 30 employees and is the point of dispatch for eight service and support vehicles. CEG
