Murphy Tractor & Equipment held its 3rd annual Golf Scramble Aug. 4 at Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Cheney, Kan.

Participants in this year’s scramble were eligible to win a John Deere 318D skid steer if they were to hit a hole-in-one at one of the most difficult holes on the course.

“Although no one was able to get a Hole-In-One, all 92 attendees had a blast trying to do so,” said Eric Timken, Murphy Tractor compact equipment sales manager, Wichita, Kan.

The top three teams, along with participants who made the longest putt and longest drive, were awarded prizes donated from Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. and sponsors of the tournament. Door prizes were awarded to lucky individuals during the lunch break. Brett O’Connor took honors for the longest putt, while Mike Bellick had the day’s longest drive. Door prize winners included Mike Craft, Tom Schuckman, Brandon Kauffman, Bob McMillan and Terry Carlson.
