Murphy Tractor & Equipment Hosts Grand Opening Event

A great assortment of machinery was on display in Murphy Tractor’s new equipment yard. Several compact equipment units were on display, including this John Deere 317G compact track loader with a broom. Bomag rollers are available to buy or rent at the Harmony, Pa., store. Katie (L) and Laura Riley helped customers register for all the wonderful door prizes. Craig Wolfley (C), former Pittsburgh Steeler and Minnesota Viking, came to the open house to greet customers. He also talked with Claude Bynum (L) and Alan Frederick, Murphy Tractor parts representatives. Wolfley podcasts weekly on The Craig Wolfley Podcast.  Sean Riley (R), Murphy Tractor area sales manager, welcomes customers to the grand opening. Future customer Joey Ciz has a blast in the mini-excavator. A great crowd came out to see the new facility and enjoyed a wonderful lunch catered by the Post Office Catering Group out of Sewickley, Pa. Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. Inc. recently celebrated the opening of the dealership's new state facility in Harmony, Pa., with a grand opening event on Sept. 16.

Customers also had the opportunity to see the newest attachments from ALLU Buckets, NPK, Paladin and Vacuworx.

Manufacturer representatives and Murphy Tractor & Equipment employees were on hand to answer questions and enjoy the festivities.

The new 46,000 sq. ft. (4,273.5 sq m) facility is located at 179 Perry Highway in Harmony, Pa. It is situated on more than 20 acres of land and features a sales floor; parts counter; office space; and 8,000 sq. ft. (743 sq m) parts storage area with modular shelving.

In addition to a vast outdoor heavy equipment yard, the facility also has 11 work bays and one wash bay, as well as a balcony above the office area for additional parts storage.

Murphy Tractor & Equipment's Harmony location employs 33 sales, office and service personnel and has four service trucks that can be dispatched from the facility.
