Murphy Tractor & Equipment Company Inc. has completed its new Lincoln branch facility, which opened for business mid-November.

The 23,575-sq.-ft. structure is situated on 6.4 acres and is less than 2 mi. northeast of the current location. Located southeast of the Highway 77 and Interstate 80 intersection, the new address is 6100 Arbor Road, Lincoln, Neb.

The new facility offers more interior space, multiple service bays, and a larger equipment yard for heavy equipment — about twice the size of the current grounds.

Meeting customer needs is paramount at Murphy Tractor and facility renovation and construction projects continue throughout the company. Providing quality sales, parts and service facilities, demonstrates how Murphy Tractor is working to provide the best product support possible.

“Our commitment of resources to our Lincoln branch confirms our desire to be the construction equipment vendor of first choice. The new facility has the necessary tools to meet the needs of the new technologies we can expect in future construction equipment. We are proud to present this new facility to our Lincoln customers,” said Tom Udland, president of Murphy Tractor.

Murphy Tractor invites customers to tour the new facility with a service center, and visit with Branch Manager John Spellman and his staff. The new John Deere K Series loaders are available to view, along with all of Murphy Tractor’s complete line of heavy construction equipment. A formal grand opening event is planned for the spring of 2009.

Murphy Tractor & Equipment Company Inc., one of John Deere’s largest North American construction equipment dealers, has been in business for 25 years and is headquartered in Wichita, Kan. The organization has 16 locations throughout the mid-western states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
