Based out of Owatonna, Minn., Mustang Manufacturing Co. Inc. has created a partnership with Flag Equipment Rental & Sales, making the Arizona equipment company the newest member of Mustang’s network of North American dealers.

“The Mustang dealer network continues to grow along with the compact equipment industry,” said Mustang General Manager Randy Vargason. “With the widest range of compact equipment today, Mustang makes a great partner to those equipment marketers looking to leverage the potential of this robust market.”

Currently, Mustang markets a product portfolio consisting of nine skid steer loaders, ten compact excavators, six telehandlers, four all-wheel-steer loaders and three compact track loaders. Mustang distributes the entire range of these products throughout North and South America, and exports skid steer loaders to 39 countries worldwide.

In business since its purchase of Flagstaff Equipment in 1998, Flag Equipment has made a name for itself in the Arizona compact equipment market. The company’s fourth location, which opened in Phoenix in the summer of 2005, will be the site of all Mustang equipment sales and rental. The company also will provide service and parts support for Mustang equipment.

Flag Equipment will distribute and service all five of Mustang’s product lines: skid steer loaders, track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers and All-Wheel-Steer loaders.

“Flag Equipment and Mustang have a great thing in common — experience,” said Chris Algya of Flag Equipment and a 23-year veteran of the compact equipment industry. “We look forward to supporting them in every way possible.”

Flag Equipment Rental & Sales markets a full line of compact equipment via four locations in Arizona: Flagstaff Equipment Co. in Flagstaff, Bobcat of Yavapai in Prescott Valley, Flag Equipment Rental & Sales in Camp Verde and Flag Equipment Rental & Sales in Phoenix.
