The Crysteel A-Tipper has been redesigned with minimum welds and an aerodynamic design.
Mon March 16, 2015 - National Edition
Crysteel Manufacturing recently unveiled the newly redesigned A-Tipper aluminum dump body. The Crysteel A-Tipper has been redesigned with minimum welds and an aerodynamic design.
The Crysteel A-Tipper is designed for contractors and municipalities that need strength, durability and lightweight efficiency. The A-Tipper offers significant strength and added safety with a strong crossmemberless understructure with 8-in. (20 cm) longsills and an integrated, tapered cabshield. The new design results in a weight reduction of 200 lbs. (90.7 kg) per body. Lightweight aluminum also offers increased payload capacity, corrosion resistance and lower maintenance costs, according to the manufacturer.
The new Crysteel A-Tipper comes with an all-new, tailgate design. This new design features independent tailgate latching, minimal welds and 3/8-in. (.9 cm) stainless steel handle. The positive independent locking latches allow users to easily drop the tailgate, spread-through, or simply remove.
All Crysteel A-Tippers come standard with 3/16-in. (.5 cm) aluminum construction, rigid sides with single panel reverse bend, tarp mounting provisions and integrated receivers, 6-in. (15 cm) board pockets, and LED lighting with one-piece wiring harness.
Crysteel offers a comprehensive, five-year warranty on all dump bodies and hoists.
