Geith plans to display a new crusher feature and a wide range of couplers at this year's ConExpo in Las Vegas, March 7 – 10, inside booth #C30030. The featured coupler options include Geith's manual quick coupler, tilting coupler and hydraulic quick coupler, all designed to maximize safety, performance and reliability for end-users.

Geith's manual quick coupler will be featured as part of the company's new concrete crusher unit. “This is the very first time the Geith crusher is available with manual coupler capability,” said Geith Sales Manager Adrian Kelly. “This unit illustrates how Geith continues to create high-performance, reliable solutions for our customers as their needs and applications evolve.”

The GT Series concrete crushers are designed for use with excavators weighing between 14,000 and 180,000 lbs. in recycling and demolition applications. The series utilizes the excavator's hydraulic forces to crush concrete and cut rebar without requiring any additional hydraulics. The crushers are made of high strength, abrasion resistant steel and wear resistant alloy pivot bearings. Geith's corresponding manual quick couplers are reversible and allow easy installation, all manufactured to match or exceed specific OEM specifications.

Geith's tilting quick coupler will be on display with a Geith bucket, and is designed for use with excavators, mini-excavators and backhoe loaders weighing between 6 and 26 tons. It is operated entirely from the inside of the cab and saves time and money for operators by providing up to 180 degrees of side-to-side rotation to dramatically increase versatility and productivity. The tilting quick coupler has a patented “curl to release” control system and four independent locking components to meet all current and proposed safety standards (ISO/DIS 13031), as well as an internal relief valve for overload protection and a variable pin center design to accommodate a wide variety of OEM attachments.

The hydraulic quick coupler will be featured as part of the Geith package display with a heavy-duty bucket and hydraulic thumb. All Geith hydraulic couplers are recognized for their safety, reliability and performance, and comply with applicable international standards and regulations. They feature front and rear safety locks, a safe release curl to open option, and low maintenance, according to the manufacturer. They are light-weight but durable, and save users about 25 percent in operational time due to their high performance.
