New State-of-the-Art Cement Plant, Jobs Coming to the Heart of Texas

U.S. Cement, LLC, announced it has received a draft air permit from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to construct a Portland Cement Plant near the town of Brady, Texas. U.S. Cement, LLC has begun the necessary engineering to build a facility which will incorporate the latest in cement manufacturing technology and the most advanced environmental controls.

This will be the first new cement plant built in America since the great recession, and the company is proud to be building it in Brady – the true heart of Texas.

The company expects to invest over $200 million in the facility, which will bring high paying jobs to the region. It is expected over 300 people will be needed during the construction period delivering a strong economic impact to the McCullough County Region.
