Construction Equipment Guide

Tesmec USA Inc., a leader in the design, manufacturing and service of high performance trenchers, announced the opening of its newest sales, service and rental branch in the heart of the Marcellus Shale region.

Until now, the Marcellus Shale has been overlooked because the technology to recover the gas did not previously exist. The Marcellus Shale formation is believed to hold as much as 4,359 trillion cu. ft. of natural gas covering a span of 95,000 sq. mi. Located below the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, New York, Maryland and other northern states, the Marcellus Shale encompasses approximately 60 percent of Pennsylvania alone. Geologists estimate this amount of natural gas could supply the United States for 20 years or more.

In response to the growing needs of its customers, Tesmec USA Inc. has opened its newest branch to accommodate the demand for high performance trenchers within this region. From this location, customers are provided sales/service support, machine rentals (long-term and short-term) and on-site parts availability.
