Cherry Valley Tractor Sales of Marlton, N.J., announced April 29 that it has taken on the full line of Kubota construction equipment. The company has been a Kubota dealer for tractors, commercial mowers, lawn and garden, utility vehicles and light construction equipment since 1977.
“We’d been wanting this for a long time. I think Kubota saw that we’ve been a successful dealer for them for years and that we’d done well with the other product lines, so we were able to add the construction line to our product offering,” said Brian Wright, sales representative of Cherry Valley Tractor Sales.
Cherry Valley Tractor Sales will now carry the KX and U Series of compact excavators, including the newly launched KX057 and U55 excavators. These excavators range from 2,200 lbs. (998 kg) to more than 18,000 lbs. (8,165 kg) machines and include both traditional tail swing and zero tail swing models. The company will also carry the R Series of compact wheel loaders.
In addition to selling new equipment, Cherry Valley Tractor currently has approximately 50 machines in its rental fleet, including tractors, skid steers, full-size and compact backhoes, stump grinders, chippers and mini-excavators. “We’re very excited about adding several new Kubota units to the fleet so we can offer our customers the full-line of Kubota product for their rental needs”, said Wright.
Cherry Valley Tractor is poised to handle all Kubota full line product support needs. The company’s technicians are Kubota certified and its parts department is fully stocked with all common wear parts for the full line of Kubota construction equipment.
“If you needed a Kubota part,” said Wright, “we would have it in inventory for you.”
Cherry Valley Tractor’s Kubota sales territory includes the Philadelphia area in southeastern Pennsylvania and Camden and Burlington counties in New Jersey. Wes Levonian, with 25 years of industry experience, will handle sales in the Pennsylvania counties, while Hank Hampton, with 20 years of experience will handle sales in Camden and south Burlington counties and Rick Nelson, with 20 years of experience, will cover northern Burlington county. Bill Mathers, with 25 years of experience, will handle municipal customers in Camden and Burlington counties.
Founded as a Ford dealership in November 1961 by Harold Wright Sr., Cherry Valley Tractor Sales soon became a light construction equipment dealership. Today, the third-generation family company carries, in addition to Kubota, New Holland ag and industrial tractors; Bandit chippers and stump grinders; Ransomes turf equipment, Alamo Industrial, Rayco and much more.
