In an effort to further assist contractors in need of compact equipment, South Plainfield, NJ, equipment dealer JESCO has created a dedicated light equipment division.

While JESCO has been in the business of selling light equipment for many years, the company saw a need to develop a division completely separate from that of its heavy equipment to ensure that its customers were receiving the devoted attention JESCO customers have come to expect.

The new, dedicated compact equipment division, led by sales manager Kevin Meegan, will be strictly committed to customers with compact equipment needs through all three of JESCO’s locations. Meegan’s compact equipment team consists of six sales representatives who will rigorously focus on assisting customers with any sales, financing, rental, parts or service needs they may have in regard to their compact equipment.

Meegan brings more than 14 year’s of experience in the sales and support of equipment to JESCO’s new division.

“We are very excited about our new, focused compact equipment division,” said Meegan. “It will allow us to provide personal care to every customer that walks through our doors. Our sales representatives and service technicians will be strictly devoted to compact equipment, allowing us to provide the best possible sales and service on these machines.”

JESCO now carries the John Deere 300 Series skid steer loader line, along with their line of Worksite Pro attachments. The skid steers are supplemented by Deere’s 110-tractor loader backhoe, ZTS Series mini-excavators and the 244 compact wheel loader.

In addition to carrying the full line of John Deere compact equipment, JESCO markets Bomag complete line of light compaction equipment including: hand-held vibratory tampers, single direction and reversible plate compactors, walk-behind rollers, trench compactors and single- and tandem-drum ride-on rollers. JESCO’s line of light equipment is rounded out with a diverse range of various OEM attachments.
