NYS AGC Elects New Officers

The New York State Chapter Inc., Associated General Contractors (NYS AGC) has announced the following executive committee was elected at its 76th Annual Meeting, held in Marco Island, FL.

The new committee consists of:

• President: Christine Joyce, president of Certified Traffic Controllers Inc. (CTC), Andover, NY;

• First Vice President: Timothy E. Delaney, president of Delaney Construction Corp., Mayfield, NY;

• Second Vice President: Jeffrey DiStefano, vice president of Harrison & Burrowes Bridge Constructors Inc., Glenmont, NY;

• Treasurer: Frederic M. Stutzman, vice president of Hudson River Construction Co. Inc., Albany, NY;

• Assistant Treasurer: William Mascetta, area manager of Granite Halmar Construction Co., Mt. Vernon, NY;

• Immediate Past President: Christopher J. Madden, president of Callanan Industries Inc., Albany, NY; and

• Director at Large: Robert Doucet, vice president of Northeast Operations of Barrett Paving Materials Inc., Liverpool, NY.

Christine Joyce is the first woman to serve as president of the New York State Chapter Inc., AGC in its 76-year history.

“For over 75 years, this association has been lead by men who embraced its motto of “Skill, Integrity and Responsibility” and I proudly accept the honor and the challenge as they once did,” Joyce said in accepting the presidency.

Joyce’s firm specializes in all aspects of signs and work zone safety. In addition to manufacturing and erecting permanent and temporary signs for the New York State Department of Transportation, JFK International Airport and many other municipalities and organizations, it sells traffic safety materials.
