O&G Industries was recently awarded a 2018 Connecticut Construction Industry Association's (CCIA) Platinum Safety Award for its company-wide safety performance in 2018.

The award is presented annually to construction firms that meet or exceed national safety statistics. Nominees are judged by a special panel of industry experts on the number of injuries or illnesses; total hours worked; Experience Modification Rates (EMR); work-related fatalities or catastrophic events; and number of OSHA citations.

Earlier this year, O&G was awarded a 2018 National Ready Mix Concrete Association Safety Award and a 2018 SmartDrive Safety Ambassador Award.
