PACCAR Parts recently introduced ACRAFIT all-makes fuel tanks that offer heavy-duty truck operators and truck fleets a cost-effective alternative to repairing or replacing damaged fuel tanks.

ACRAFIT fuel tanks are available in multiple sizes of 50 to 150 gal. (189 to 568 L) and a variety of diameters: 23-, 24.5-, 25- and 26-in. (58, 62, 63 and 66 cm), to fit all major OEM applications.

ACRAFIT fuel tanks are manufactured by an ISO-certified manufacturer using the same thickness and grade of aluminum as OEM manufacturing standards. The fuel tanks are treated with an acid etch that provides a consistent, uniform finish and have been drop tested to the same rigorous standards as OEM fuel tanks to ensure their structural integrity. They’re available with filler necks in the right, left and center locations to offer a wide variety of options for different fits and functions.

“ACRAFIT fuel tanks are manufactured using robotic processes to ensure they consistently exceed performance standards,” said Jeff Sass, general marketing manager of PACCAR Parts, which distributes the all-make fuel tanks exclusively through Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers in the United States and Canada.

Each ACRAFIT fuel tank is backed by a 24-month warranty, supported by a large network of Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers in the United States and Canada.

“Truck operators and fleets concerned about the quality and durability of repairs or replacements completed by repair or body shops, particularly those involving insurance claims, can feel confident requesting ACRAFIT replacement fuel tanks,” Sass said.
