Penn Jersey Machinery recently expanded its Terex Fuchs material handler dealer territory.
For the past five years, Penn Jersey Machinery has been a Terex Fuchs dealer in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Now, the company also will be distributing the Terex Fuchs material handler line in Maryland and Virginia. The company plans to undertake an aggressive demonstration program, which will showcase its parts and service support.
“Our sales team will be reaching out to make appointments for face-to-face introductions of the Terex Fuchs line in the near future,” said Wayne Donahue, Terex Fuchs business manager of Penn Jersey Machinery. “Specifically, we’ll be speaking with customers in the barge off-loading, logging and scrap operations businesses. We’re very excited to be bringing this line to our customers in Maryland and Virginia.”
To prepare for this additional territory, Penn Jersey has hired two additional service technicians and has guaranteed the following:
• a technician will be on the job no later than the beginning of the next business day on any machine-down service call during the warranty period
• for non-warranty machine-down service calls, technicians will be on the job within 24 hours
“We pride ourselves on the reputation of our 23 factory-trained service technicians, of which 14 are road technicians dispatched daily for field service support,” said Frank Przelomiec, service manager of Penn Jersey Machinery. “We already support more than 100 Fuchs in our current territory and we have several employees that have been supporting Fuchs material handlers for more than 15 years. In addition, we also have three fully stocked parts fulfillment facilities.”
The company also has committed to overnight any A or B part related to a machine-down issue and capping the cost of shipping regular ground freight any non-machine-down part.
Penn Jersey Machinery currently is stocking new machines, grapples, magnets and other attachments. In addition to new inventory available for immediate delivery, the company maintains a large rental fleet, which currently includes the MHL320 D, MHL340 D, MHL350 E, and MHL360 D.
