Sitting on 10 acres on Gus Hip Boulevard, the two-story facility will contain 120,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and 20,000 sq. ft. of office space.

PIRTEK is significantly expanding its national corporate offices and distribution facilities currently located in Rockledge, Fla. During a groundbreaking ceremony in May, the company made public its plans to construct a new headquarters and primary national warehouse, which, when completed in mid-2018, will be five times the size of its current facilities.

“This will provide us a much larger distribution center to support our increasing number of franchises across the country,” said Glenn Duncan, chief executive officer of PIRTEK. “With all of the growth we're experiencing, we really need a new facility like this to keep pace.”

Sitting on 10 acres on Gus Hip Boulevard, the two-story facility will contain 120,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and 20,000 sq. ft. of office space.

Duncan added that the new facility will be ideal as the center for PIRTEK's franchising network across the United States, part of the company's philosophy to centralize its corporate operations. The extra warehouse space also will enable PIRTEK to stock a wider array of products on site.

“This will be more of a one-stop shop,” he said. “We'll be able to keep a much greater variety of inventory here to serve our franchises, as well as more volume.”

PIRTEK is the only franchise of its kind in the United States, providing hydraulic and industrial hose replacement sales and services. There are 65 PIRTEK franchises and a fleet of Mobile Service Vehicles throughout the United States. Globally, PIRTEK has more than 400 locations and 2,000 mobile service vehicles in 23 countries.

Work will begin on the new facilities within the next few weeks and is scheduled for completion in 18 months.

The company will focus on using as many local contractors on the project as possible, part of the company's mission to become a pivotal corporate citizen within the communities it serves throughout the United States.
