PIRTEK USA’s 45th Hose Service Center has opened in Gastonia, N.C.

Local companies and their equipment idled by failed hose assemblies will surely benefit from the new onsite hose replacement service in their area. PIRTEK will minimize equipment downtime and increase productivity by bringing hose and fitting replacement services directly to customer job sites within one hour of a call for assistance.

Mike McArdle is the owner of PIRTEK Gastonia and the owner of the well-established PIRTEK South End located in the heart of Charlotte, NC.

“Gastonia is experiencing a big economic turn around just outside of the heavily expanding Charlotte area,” McArdle said. “This center will help us keep up with the demand of growth that has increased rapidly for the last three years. The opening of this hose service center also allows us to provide over counter service to local companies and enables us to add more onsite service vans that will tap into a larger market just west of Charlotte.”

The new 6,000 sq. ft. hose service center, located at 1101 W. Franklin Blvd., will serve as home base to the fleet of onsite mobile service units. The facility will be stocked with a wide variety of hoses, fittings and adapters for made-to-order hose assemblies for walk-in customers. With the opening of PIRTEK Gastonia, McArdle will be installing a “brake room” specifically designed to be a resource for local automotive and car repair shops. The shop will have the capability to fabricate custom built DOT brake hoses, air conditioning and power steering hoses.

Mobile service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 980/320-8484. The hose center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
