Putzmeister America, Inc. has announced its 2012 service school lineup. It will once again offer structural inspection course part II, which was introduced in 2011.

Structural inspection course part II builds upon Putzmeister America’s existing structural inspection course (part I). Part I covers the techniques and procedures used to inspect Putzmeister truck-mounted concrete boom pumps and Telebelts, while a requirement of the part II course is for students to complete a number of actual inspections to become a certified Putzmeister America structural inspector. At the conclusion of part II, about half of the required inspections will be complete. Putzmeister America is the only company in the industry to offer this type of course.

“This year, we’ve also expanded our July course offerings to further accommodate those attendees coming up from southern states,” said Alan Woods, technical services manager of Putzmeister America. “The service school courses are an invaluable resource for inspectors and operators, providing hands-on training, problem-solving exercises, safety training and much more.”
