Ringhaver Chairman, President Announces Year-End Retirement

After 16 years of managing Ringhaver Equipment Co., Lance Ringhaver has announced his retirement effective the end of year 2003. In addition, Ringhaver announced his immediate change in position with RPC Inc., the parent and holding company of Ringhaver Equipment Co. and Ring Power Corporation, from chairman and president to chairman-emeritus. Randal Ringhaver, current president of Ring Power Corporation, assumes responsibilities as chairman and president of RPC Inc.

Other elected officers include Timothy Geddes, vice president and secretary; Ron Roy, vice president finance/treasurer and assistant secretary; and Bree Ringhaver, assistant treasurer.

After co-founding Ring Power Corporation with his father, Lance Ringhaver became president in 1976. Due to Ring Power's success, Caterpillar awarded Ringhaver the central Florida territory in 1986. He then turned over the operation of Ring Power to his brother and established Ringhaver Equipment Co., headquartered in Tampa.

Today, Ringhaver Equipment Co. is comprised of five divisions. The construction division represents Caterpillar heavy equipment, as well as a variety of complementary product lines from other leading manufacturers.

The Power Systems division specializes in delivering prime and standby power modules, marine engines, industrial engines, truck engines, mobile temperature control and compressed air products and accessories.

Ring Rent offers daily, weekly and monthly rentals of late model machines with low usage hours.

Southeastern Crane sells and rents premier lift equipment from America's top crane manufacturers.

Entertainment Services provides temporary power and temperature control to the entertainment industry.
